One conservation changed my life forever.

A few kind, simple words so powerful that they stopped me in my tracks at a time in my life which was full of turbulence, uncertainty and highlighted an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. This began my journey in Fitness, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Self Discovery.

This has shaped my approach to coaching both in and out of the studio, and it is my aspiration to be that voice for many others. Starting with assessing our preconceived notions of body image and our relationship with ourselves, identifying limiting beliefs which we may be aware of, but also those which are hiding under the surface. Rebuilding our foundations which shaped our behaviours and how we see ourselves in this world for the rest of our lives, then striving for a future full of strength in both mind and body. For me, personal training is 90% Mental Health Wellness and 10% Physicality, Strength and Nutrition. Past trauma/relationships, mental health attributes, and why we do what we do is a huge factor in changing sabotaging belief on body image, eating disorders, how we feel about ourselves and how we behave towards exercise
and food. We've all done it (myself included). Diets that have failed. Exercise programmes that failed Joined a gym raring to go, then stopped going a month in. There is no quick fix of course and yes we may have ups and downs. The important
thing for me is equipping my clients with tools to minimise those downs and most importantly address what triggers them. Deal with the root problem and you will succeed. Cognitive behavioural therapy and Personal training in one. Change the way you behave.
FOR GOOD.
